After reading the chapters in this textbook I have learned how Spanish speaking men and women greet eachother. After saying hello or goodbye they almost always shake hands. Women usually kiss eachother on one cheek. Men who are close friends usually hug one another and pat eachother on the back.The greetings are obviously much different than the greetings here in the U.S. The picture below shows how close friends in Spanish speaking countries greet each other.
